Kevin Polak is a Somatic Therapist, Movement Healer, and Choreographer — the creator of Polak Therapy and Human Contact Improvisation (HCI).

With more than 30 years of international experience spanning movement, psychology, embodiment, healing, and human connection, his work bridges art, awareness, emotional intelligence, and transformation through direct experience. He works with individuals, groups, performers, professionals, and wellness communities across the world.

Born and educated in Europe, Kevin has lived and worked internationally for more than three decades, collaborating with wellness centres, retreat spaces, festivals, universities, dance institutions, luxury resorts, healing communities, and creative organisations across Europe and Asia.

He is currently based in Chiang Mai, where the mountains, temples, and the particular spiritual quality of northern Thailand provide the backdrop for a practice that is both ancient in its roots and urgently alive in its applications. The Healing Hand is his first published book — the first in the KevinCares series.
